We work with one of the UK’s largest online garden plant retailers, giving you access to a wide range of self-employed work opportunities throughout the growing season and beyond.
We are always looking for hard-working, motivated and enthusiastic workers to join our teams. Whether you’ve worked with plants before or you’re completely new to the industry, there are opportunities to get involved, learn new skills and experience different areas of plant production.
No horticultural experience? No problem. We’ll make sure you understand what’s expected and have the opportunity to learn the skills you need for the work you undertake.
Typical Work to Expect
Working in plant production is varied, practical and hands-on. Depending on the season, location and work available, you could be:
- Packing and preparing plants
- Preparing customer orders
- Picking products
- Checking plant quality
- Labelling products
- loading trolleys and moving stock
- Working in greenhouses
- Working outdoors
- Supporting general nursery activities
Spring and Summer are our busiest periods, when the nurseries are full of activity and there are lots of different tasks to get involved in. Other seasonal peaks, including the run-up to Christmas, can also bring additional opportunities.
If you enjoy being active, working with your hands and seeing what you’ve achieved at the end of the day, you could be a great fit with us!
